The Philippines island of Luzon shook in June 15, 1991 by a devastating eruption of a centuries-old sleeping volcano in Central Luzon. Almost immediately, Mount Pinatubo dramatically changed the lives of the people living around the volcano and much of the world as it spewed molten ash into the stratosphere.
Discover Mount Pinatubo, which has since become an important destination by adventurers, hikers, tourists, and even marathon runners.
